Due to lack of any information about this being going on, I decided to make a topic to discuss it, in the hope that answers spontaneously appear.

so, two big questions:

1) Is it actually occuring?

2) If so, what game?

I recommend AoE 1 as first choice, because we haven't played it yet, and everyone's probably got it. Second choice if someone can't stand charriots is SWGB, but I'm not sure if that can be found to work in time. If neither of those are ok, I guess its back to warcraft 3.

OH CRAP I FORGOT

It is too late to organise anything official now, but I recommend AOE3, because I would like to do something small and we haven't played that in a while. Unfortunately AOE 1 is de-syncing on my computer after I installed Hamachi (because the unofficial Vista patch isn't compatible with it), so AOE 1 is not an option.

Turn up on Ventrilo as early as possible (I suggest some time between 7.30pm and 8pm so that we can have a long stab at it) and we shall try to play a 4-player game of AOE3 (me, my dad, my brother, and you) versus 4 computers.

:)

Even if you guys are staying up late enough, I will not be able to attend as we will be going to pick up the others from a skiing trip.
